Once the
user
is properly seated, loosen the straps and disengage the
sling from the
hoist
. To do this,
hoist
up on the safety latch with the sling
strap (as shown below) and slide the strap off.

Slide the
hoist
away from the
user
. Unhook the
hoist
from the trolley and
use the hand control or touchpad membranes to shorten the strap. You can
now remove the sling from around the
user
who was transferred.

Turn off the power switch on the
hoist
.
