1.3.1 Discovered devices
The table show the discovered devices and some information regarding these devices.
Table column
Description
PTP IP Address
IP Address of the PTP CPU
Switch IP Address
IP Address of the Switch CPU
Signature
Signature of the device. For instance CM-1600
Serial number
The serial number of the device, this number is also written
on the device mechanics.
Mechanics
Details regarding the mechanics of the device.
Hostname
An optional hostname of the device
Status
The IEEE1588 status of the device. This may be:
1- SLAVE (Synchronized to a Master clock)
2- MASTER (Acting as time reference )
3- INITIALIZING (Not reached MASTER or SLAVE
state. May be in the synchronization process )
PTP version
The IEEE1588 (PTP) version the device is running.
