Offline Licensing
Offline licensing is used when the RecOn5 appliance does not have internet
connectivity. There are a few additional steps to perform (as compared to Online
licensing) but it is a simple process.
For this process you will need:
access to a computer that does have internet access in order to perform
offline licensing on the appliance.
a USB flash drive.
access to an email account.
Click
Offline
on the pop-up shown in Figure 11.
Click
Copy
to copy the Product ID to the Windows clipboard from the Product ID
tab. Then, click Close .
Paste the contents of the clipboard to a Notepad or other text file on portable media
(i.e. USB flash drive).
Bring the portable media to any computer that does have internet connectivity.
