To mute the CBX-100, press the remote
controller’s [MUTING] button. “Muting”
appears on the display for a few seconds.
The MUTING indicator flashes continu-
ously while the CBX-100 is muted.
To unmute the CBX-100, press the [MUTING] button
again.
Tips:
While the CBX-100 is muted:
• Press the VOLUME [
/
] buttons on the CBX-100
or pressing the VOLUME [
]/[
] buttons on the
remote controller will unmute the CBX-100.
• If you turn the CBX-100 off, the next time you turn it
on, the CBX-100 will be unmuted.
With the CBX-100’s three preset equalizer
settings, you can change the tone of the
sound.
To select a preset equalizer setting, press the
remote controller’s [PRESET EQ] button
repeatedly. The preset equalizer settings are
selected in the following order.
You can choose the name that’s displayed when an exter-
nal input source is selected so that it matches the type of
component that you’ve connected to the INPUT
DOCK/LINE jacks. When you connect an Onkyo RI
Dock, it’s important that you select DOCK for
to
work properly. Select LINE if you connect a different
component.

Select the DOCK/LINE input

“Name DOCK” appears on the
display.

repeatedly to select either DOCK
or LINE.
The previous display will reappear
after 2 seconds.
