Straps
Every ISDN interface has a strap (ST13, ST14, ST15 ST16) making it possible to configure the following
options:
• 100 Ohms impedance adaptation
• Power-feeding for ISDN phones
Refer to
3.6 - The ONE100D/M motherboard on page 34
for the position of these straps.
Description
All four straps allow:
• To connect a 100 Ohms impedance adaptation or not. The straps can be used in sending, in receiving
or in both sending and receiving direction.
• To connect the power supply for ISDN terminal (30 volts) or not. Straps operate in pairs:
- No power feeding: both straps must be removed.
- With power feeding: both straps must be set.
The following figure illustrates the functions of the straps:
