Cleaning, Maintenance, and 

Lubrication

BEFORE EaCH uSE,

1. 

 inspect the 

general condition of the tool.  Check 

for loose screws, misalignment or 

binding of moving parts, cracked or 

broken parts, and any other condition 

that may affect its safe operation.

aFTER uSE,

2. 

 clean external surfaces 

of the tool with clean cloth. Use a 

brush (not included) to remove grass 

and other debris from Guard.
Use soap and moist cloth to clean

Trimmer.  Do NOT use solvents or 

clean/rinse with a jet of water.  Make 

sure no water enters Trimmer.
The batteries contained in the Battery

Pack are nickel-cadmium (Ni-CD).
