General Operating instructions

Before each use, open the door of the 

1. 

Propane Housing Container (G) and 

carefully inspect the visible portion of 

the hose.  Also, the entire Gas Line (T) 

and Gas Valve (S) should be inspected 

frequently. Inspect the hose for

Cracks

Excessive Abrasion or Wear

• 

Any Other Damage.

• 
If any of the above flaws are detected, 

replace the hose prior to use with a 

new Gas Line (T).
To test the Gas Lamp, push in and turn 

2. 

the Control Valve Knob (X) counter-

clockwise to the ON position. 
Wait for 5 minutes to clear out any gas. 

3. 

Then smell for gas, both at the floor 

level and at the lamp level. If you smell 

gas, turn the Control Valve Knob (X) to 

the OFF position and do not attempt 

to use the Gas Lamp. Take the Gas 

Lamp to a qualified repair technician for 

service.
IF YOU SMELL GAS:

Do not try to light the Gas Lamp

nor use a cell phone in the area.
Immediately call your gas supplier

counterclockwise to the ON position.  

Hold the Knob in for 5 - 10 seconds, 

then release. The Lamp should ignite. 

Retry a few times if the Lamp does not 

light the first time.
DO NOT use any fire, flame or spark

To turn OFF the Lamp, turn the Control

Valve Knob (X) clockwise to the OFF 

position. WARNING: The Propane 

canister must be stored outside.  If 

the Gas Lamp is to be stored inside a 

building, the Propane Canister must be 

turned off, removed, and left outside.  

Canisters must be stored outdoors in 

a well-ventilated area out of the reach 

of children.  Disconnected canisters 

must have threaded valve plugs (not 

included) tightly installed, and must not 

be stored in a building, garage, or any 

other enclosed area.

  

 Warning:  do  not  attempt  to 

move the Gas Lamp while it is 

on or while it is hot.  do not 

touch  any  area  of  the  Gas 

Lamp Head section;  serious 

burns will occur.  turn the Gas 

Lamp  off  and  wait  one-half 

hour until it cools down before 

moving.
