The KP100L has 3 individual MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) devices and ensures high power
efficiency and maximum power output at all times. Key to Omron’s highly efficient technology is a
special ZCC circuit. This circuit topology of the Zigzag-Connected Chopper Converter was invented by
Dr. Hideaki Fujita, who is an Associate Professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

Easy sizing
The KP100L has 3 individual MPP (Maximum Power Point Trackers), which convert PV
input into a common BUS voltage and search for the maximum power point of PV input
at all times. Designers can connect differently aligned PV strings as a DC input from a
wide MPP voltage range.
