Remove about 30 mm of the cable sheathing, being careful not to damage
the woven shielding underneath. Do not remove too much sheathing; re-
moving too much of the sheathing can result in short circuits and increase
the effect of noise.

Carefully peel back the woven shielding. The cable contains a shielding
wire along with the signal lines and power lines. The shielding wire is stiffer
than the woven shielding, so it can be identified by touch.
3.
Remove the exposed woven shielding, remove the aluminum tape from the
signal and power lines, and strip the covering from the signal and power
lines to the proper length for the crimp terminal connectors being used.
Twist the wire strands on each of the signal and power lines so that there
are no loose strands.
4.
Attach the crimp terminals (solderless pin terminals) to the lines and use
the proper Crimping Tool to crimp the terminal securely.
