The
CPL1
and
CPL2
external quadripoles are designed to connect the
MPD 800
acquisition unit to a
capacitance (coupling capacitor or test object), which drives a reactive current larger than the current the
MPD 800
acquisition unit can handle directly.
CPL2
allows furthermore to operate third party measuring equipment using the same coupling capacitor
or test object as the
MPD 800
system. Additional precautions must to be fulfilled to achieve the desired
safety requirements.
