• Immediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual 

smell, feels hot, changes color or shape, leaks or appears abnormal in any 

other way. 

• Do not place the battery in microwave ovens or high-pressure containers.

Standard 1.5V C cell Alkaline batteries can be used as 

an alternative to the standard Lithium batteries. You must 

first remove all batteries from the gauge. Then configure 

jumper S2 with only position M installed as indicated 

in Figure 4-3. Always remove all 3 of the S2 jumpers 

before changing configurations. Failure to properly 

configure the jumpers can damage the gauge. Battery 

life is subject to usage conditions. Battery life estimates 

are provided for Lithium batteries only.
