The rotor’s protective safety guards should always be kept in good condition. A
safety guard that is broken, bent or excessively worn be replaced. In order to
replace it, it will be necessary:
a.
To take off the cotter pin (A) indicated in the figure on the right.
b.
Wind off, on the other side, the rod supporting the safety guards.
c.
Replace the safety guard with the replacement
d.
Refit the whole shaft, blocking the rod with the security cotter pin that
was removed.
check the tension of the belts after the first half hour of work and subsequently
every 8or 20 hours of work.
Wind off the nuts (B) and take them off with relative washers shown in the
figure (rear zone of the casing protecting the belts)
