5.1 Selecting the Menu
Language
You can select one of six languages (English, French,
German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese) for displaying the
menu and other on-screen displays.
NOTE
If the Control Lock has been turned on, all items are
displayed in gray. To change any of the items, turn the
Control Lock to OFF first.
For details on the Control Lock, see page 30.

Turn on the unit.

Press the DISPLAY button.
The operation buttons are displayed.

Press the MENU button.
The menu-selecting screen appears.
The menu presently selected is shown in blue.
Only “System Configuration” can be selected for
the factory setting. To change the setting of other
items, set “Control Lock” in the “Control Lock”
menu to “Off” by referring the following steps 4 to
6.

Press the v/V button to select “System
Configuration.”
The “System Configuration” menu appears.
The selected tab is displayed in blue.

Press the b/B button to select the “OSD Setting”
tab.
The “OSD Setting” menu appears.

Press the v/V button to select “Language.”
The selected item is displayed in blue.
