Inspection of the displayed image
Before using high-frequency electrosurgical equipment, be
sure to install and connect the equipment according to its
instruction manual and make sure that the noise does not
affect the observation and surgical procedures. If
high-frequency electrosurgical equipment is used without
such confirmation, patient injury may result.
1.
Connect the required ancillary equipment as described in Chapter 3,
“Installation and Connection”, turn all the ancillary equipment On, and
confirm that the monitor displays an image.
2.
Observe the palm of a hand, for example, with the endoscope and confirm
that the endoscopic image is normal.
3.
Confirm that there are no cracks in the LCD panel.
