If the program is present, the pro­
gram name is repeated under the
input line on the screen.* The
system then returns to the CP/M
level and displays the > prompt
symbol. The FORMAT utility
program can then be called up.
Use these same steps for
COPYDISK and other commands.

* Meaning of the Input:
DIR is the program command,
FORMAT is the program or file
name, and CMD is the file type,
file code, or the file name for a
particular file group. File name
and file type must be input,
separated by a period.
If the desired program or file is
not on the diskette,
NO FILE is
displayed on the screen.
• Upon completion, the CP/M-86
system prompt > always appears
on the screen.
