This function monitors the metallic strips in the bank
notes.
The function can be activated/deactivated by pressing

If this function is active, MT appears in the display [17].
This function is always active with the value count
function.
Operation
Switching the Bank Note Counter On/Off
The bank note counter is switched on and off using a
switch on the rear of the machine.

After switching the machine on, it performs a self-dia
gnosis. During the self-diagnosis,

has finished without any errors,

play [4]/[14] (refer to Error Table).
If the machine will not be used for a longer period,
disconnect it from the power outlet.

Select the function required before inserting bank
notes in the machine.
In the case of the NC 560 and NC 570, the settings
are saved for each currency. When you select a
currency, the settings last defined for this currency are
activated.
