First installation and Operating System Customisation

Installation of Windows Vista / Win 7 requires entry of certain information which is necessary for configuring and customising the
operating system on the basis of user requirements.

1. On first powering on the portable computer, after a short phase with a black screen and scrolling white bar, a screen

appears in which you can select the nationality for the keyboard. Select the settings for the keyboard and press

to continue with the customisation. The system displays a screen for you to enter the serial code for the Windows
version:

The procedure described below is valid only for the preinstalled version of Windows Vista / Win 7.
