3.4 Dialog Normalization

Dialog Normalization: To set whether the BD player

ignores the dialog normalization setting in a Dolby 
soundtrack or not. 
This is a piece of non-sound data placed in Dolby 
soundtracks so that the dialog in all movies will play 
at about the same volume levels, assuming you never 
touched the volume controls of the player or the TV.

t have a surround sound receiver connected 

to the BD player, you don

t need to touch this menu 

setting. It only applies to multichannel audio.
If you have a surround sound receiver connected to 
the BD player, and you have connected to the surround 
receiver via the multichannel audio outputs, you can 
set the menu to choice.
If you have a surround sound receiver connected to 
the BD player via HDMI or SPDIF this menu item has 
no effect.
