Referring to Figure 1 or 1b as the case may be (stand-alone or connected to an ISC/OLDHAM central unit):
§
Remove the protection cover and the display card to gain access to the connection terminals
§
Check that the main circuit is correctly programmed for the type of detector connected (see Figure 7)
§
Feed the cables into the cable glands
§
Connect the 2 active wires of the power supply (connectors J1 and J2): V+ and V-
§
Connect the transmitter to the earth via the external or internal earth terminals
§
Connect the wires for the functions used (4-20 mA, RS485, relays, etc.)
§
Refit the display circuit and protection cover correctly
§
Check that all cable glands and plugs are tight.

Check that connection and fastening have been carried out correctly,
§
Disable the alarms of the facility to prevent any unintentional triggering during the operation,
§
Switch on the power supply and leave to stabilise for 2 to 3 minutes,
§
During the first minute of warming up, the detector delivers a current of 2 mA,
§
Check the zero (4 mA) and response to the standard reference gas,
§
If necessary, adjust the zero and sensitivity,
§
Set the system to normal operation by deactivating the disable.
Note:
The detector will now run an automatic cyclic self-test.
