MFP as Network Printer
You can also use your MFP as a network printer using
Unimessage Pro LAN. Follow these additional steps to set up
the host (connected to the MFP) and the client(s) for network
printing.
Host
1. Make sure the drivers are installed on the host and that
Unimessage Pro LAN is installed.
Note: The status monitor must be running on the host
computer.
2. Set up the MFP driver as a shared printer with an assigned
name: From

right-click the MFP icon,
under
Sharing
select
Shared
and enter a name.
Client

1. From

Add Printer
.
2. Click

at the opening screen.

Next
.
4. If you know the path name for the MFP, enter it, click
Next,
and skip to step 6.
5. Click

. Browse to the MFP you want, highlight it, and

6. When prompted “Do you want this to be the default
printer?” select
Yes
and click
Next
.
7. Click
Finish

Windows Me/98/95
1. Install the drivers from the CD on the client. If you see an
error message, click
Ignore
.
2. On the client, specify the path to the MFP:
