Memory installed in the printer.
NOTE
The Memory button in the Windows 98 PS driver is provided to
allow the amount of available PostScript memory and font
cache size to be adjusted. The driver automatically adjusts
these values when the installed memory size is set, and they
should not normally need further adjustment.

The preferred setup for these items is Automatic.
However, they can be set manually, as follows.
The following printer driver instructions are given as a guide only.
Some software applications require the paper feed, size and
media settings to be selected from within the software (usually
under Page Setup).
Installed printer drivers appear in the “Printers” window of your
computer. This window can normally be opened via the
Start
menu or from the Windows Control Panel. (If necessary, refer to
your Windows documentation).
The illustrations in this chapter show the dialogues for
Windows XP and Windows 98. The dialogues for Windows 2000
are virtually identical to those for Windows XP, and those for
Windows NT are very similar.
To access the printer properties right-click on the appropriate
printer driver icon and choose
Printing Preferences
(Windows XP/2000) or
Properties
(Windows 98) from the pop-
up menu.
