Install the Driver of Your
Choice (PCL or Postscript)

Check that the USB cable is plugged in and the printer
is powered on.

Found New Hardware appears.
□
Insert the Drivers CD supplied with your printer into the
CD-ROM drive.

Please select the best match for your hardware from
the list below
appears.
•
To load the PCL driver, select
\drivers\parallel\win2k_xp\pcl\OK715.inf.
•
To load the Postscript emulation driver, select
\drivers\network\win2k_xp\ps\ok715ps.inf.

Click

screen appears click
Continue Anyway
. Installation is completed.

To Install the Second Driver as

With the Drivers CD still in your CD-ROM drive, click
Start

Run

INSTALL.EXE

The Menu Installer Software Installation screen

Printer Driver Installer

Note:
When prompted to select a port, select LPT1
temporarily.

Right click the printer icon, then click
Properties

On the
Ports
tab, select
USB01 port
in the
Print to the
following port
drop-down list.

With the Drivers CD installed in your CD-ROM drive,

Run. Browse to your CD-ROM Drive and
double-click Install. Click

Productivity

Install the utilities you want following the on-screen
instructions.
To access the utility programs from your desktop, click
Start

Activating the Duplex Unit,
Internal Hard Drive and
Second Paper Tray Options
If your printer has an optional duplex unit, internal hard
drive or second paper tray installed, you must enter the
driver and activate them. See page 5 for instructions on how
to do this.
