Lighting Mounting Procedure
*The mounting procedure for the lighting is different from other Pierna
series desks, and so be sure that you fully understand the information
below to ensure correct assembly.
<Mounting Procedure to Desktop Shelf>
The lighting equipment can be mounted to either the right or
left sides of the desktop shelf.
Remove the desktop shelf movable shelf on
the lighting equipment mounting side.
For details on the movable shelf removal
procedure, see page 7.
Route the power outlet plug for the clamp with outlet through
the two notches and pull it out towards the rear.
Turn the clamp with outlet supplied with the lighting equipment to
the side so that it goes through the bar, and then change the
direction of the outlet so that it faces the front direction.

Open the clamp opening so
that the movable shelf and bar
are inserted simultaneously.
Set the movable shelf in
place, turn the knob, and
secure the clamp in place.
Insert the arm holder for
the lighting into the knob.
Insert the lighting plug into the
desktop rear section (position
in figure) of the clamp with
outlet.

Insert the arm holder for
the lighting into the knob.
Set the movable shelf in place,
turn the clamp knob, and secure
the clamp in place.
CAUTION
Do not make the clamp too loose.
If it is too loose, the bottom
section of the clamp could come
off.

<Mounting Procedure to Top
panel and Extension Top panel>

Before mounting the top panel to the
desk, insert the clamp with outlet into
the notches on the right and left rear
side of the extension top panel turn the
knob to mount, and then firmly secure
the clamp in place.
Insert the arm holder for the lighting
into the knob.
Insert the lighting plug into the
outlet on the clamp top surface.
Pull out the outlet cord to the rear
from the rear panel slit.
When the top panel is at the
highest level, pull out to the rear
from the top side of the rear panel
without passing through the slit.
Be sure to mount any lighting equipment
before mounting the desk top panel.
CAUTION
Do not make the top panel clamp too loose. If it
is too loose, the bottom section of the clamp
could come off.
