Installation and Usage Procedure for Lower Shelf and Other Parts
Partition lower shelf installation procedure
The partition lower shelves can be mounted to the right and
left front side and top side of the fixed lower shelf panel.
Mount the screw-in dowels to the position where you want to
mount (4 locations per shelf), and place the partition lower
shelf on top.
*If the partition shelf panel is mounted to the front side of the
position at the rear of the wagon when using the compact
desk, the wagon will no longer fit under the desktop.
Drawer removal procedure
If the screws are removed from the inner
side of the drawer frame panel, the drawer
can be removed.
Fitting the 3- drawer wagon unit
If the wagon is used with the desktop at a height of JIS3 or less (up to the second
level position from the bottom), then the 3-drawer wagon unit must be separated.
Store the separated drawer unit by mounting it to the lower shelf left side of the
desk as shown in the figure. Be sure to perform this procedure before mounting the
desktop.
*The separated drawer unit can be mounted only to the left side of the desk.
If the drawer unit is mounted to the wagon, remove the drawer unit,
and remove the single-end connection bolts from the wagon.
(Attach the nut caps in the nut holes.)
Screw in the four single-end connection bolts supplied with the
wagon into the nuts of the desk rear panel. If the drawer unit was
already mounted, use the single-end connection bolts that were
removed in step .
To orient the front panel of the drawer to the desk front panel (outer
side), mount so that the single-end connection bolts are inserted
into the holes at the bottom side of the drawer unit (4 locations).
Turn only the two screw-type connectors in the top section
clockwise to tighten in place.

Height of the Desk Desktop
Okamura Pierna series desks are designed in accordance
with JIS school furniture standards. The desktop can be
adjusted to five different heights suitable for users between
JIS size 2 (120 cm height) and JIS size 6 (180 cm height).
The illustration on the right shows the bolt holes to use for
each JIS size when assembling the desk.
*The extension desktop when using the extended desk
shows the shelf holder wire mounting locations.
In addition, chairs (sold separately) can be adjusted to five
different heights and depths. Use the height that best suits
the height of the user.
