2 Installation
2.1 Installation site
Site planning and selection
● Install the unit and the associated equipment in a warm, dry place.
● The installation site’s ambient temperature must be 5...+40 °C (non-
condensing).
● No condensate should accumulate onto the unit’s components from ambient air
(non-condensing atmosphere).
● The air at the installation site should be free of harmful quantities of dust or other
substances that may influence the heat pump’s performance, durability, or safety.
Unit base and leveling feet
Place the unit on a stable, steady base that can carry its entire weight. Mount the unit
securely in a vertical position onto its own leveling feet. Level the machine using the
machine’s leveling feet. The device must be adjusted horizontally using the leveling
feet of the device.
Maintenance and access clearance
Install shut-off valves that allow the unit’s evaporator and condenser to be isolated from
the rest of the system.
● Leave at least 30 cm of clearance behind the unit (on the evaporator and
condenser side).
● Leave at least 80 cm of clearance in front of the unit (on the user interface side).
● Leave at least 80 cm of clearance in front of the unit’s control cabinet door.
● There must be enough space for servicing at least in front of the unit.
