> > Transport
• Before lifting the appliance from the bearing
plane fix the heating elements (2) to the
handle (3).
For a safe transport it’s necessary to make sure that the handle
is correctly hooked to the two pins (10).
> > Appliance unpacking
• Remove the appliance from the packaging.
• Eliminate all the packaging materials like films, filling materials, cables ties and
cardboard.
• Check the equipment.
> > At first use
At the appliance first use accurately clean the raclette non-stick trays (7), the
wooden spatulas (8) and the soapstones (4) with hot water and dish-washing
detergent.
Abbundatly rinse and accurately dry all of the components.
Do not submerge the soapstones (4) in water or other liquids; please
refer to the appropriate section for their cleaning.

Place the appliance on a bearing plane which must be horizontal,
stable and resistant to high temperatures and splashes. Make
sure that the appliance is safely supported.
