3.2 disassemble Shaft
3.2.1
Pull off the Top out spring from the Piston holder.
3.2.2
Use tool 00727-02. Fasten the Shaft in a vice. Fasten the soft jaws
close to the Piston holder.
note!
Note the orientation of and order between the parts before removal.
3.2.3
Use appropriate tool to remove the Nut on the Piston holder and
remove the Piston, Shims and setting parts from the Piston holder.
3.2.4
Remove the Piston ring from the Piston.
3.2.5
Use a heat gun to loosen the Piston holder from the Shaft.
Use appropriate tool to remove the Piston holder from the Shaft.
3.2.6
Remove the Shaft from the vice.
3.2.7
Use the Adjustment rod to push out the Needle from the Shaft.
3.2.8
Pull off the Top out spring, Sleeve, Spacers, O-ring, Seal head,
Bump rubber, Spacers and Guide sleeve from the Shaft.
note!
Be careful not to damage the Seal when pulling the Seal head over the
Shaft’s thread.
3.2.9
Use tool 00727-02. Fasten the Shaft in a vice near the Shaft
extension.
3.2.10
Loosen the Shaft extension from the Shaft. Use a heat gun
to loosen the Loctite. Use tool 04705-03 to loosen the Shaft
extension.
3.2.11
Remove the O-ring from the Shaft extension.
