Using the Easy-bike
To grant safe travels and to ensure a long and efficient life of the Easybike, please
keep an eye on the following aspects:
o
When in use the Easybike must be correctly hooked to the wheelchair.
o
When in use, the adjustable arm and clamps must be firmly tightened.
o
In case of overtaking slopes, use lower gear to avoid useless effort.
o
The Easybike can be used only to pull one person in a wheelchair.
o
The brakes are useful to slow down and stop the Easybike. As parking brake
is necessary to use the wheelchair brakes.
o
Always keep the device properly maintained to ensure its efficiency.
Main risks involved with an improper use of the EASYBIKE:
An incorrect fitting of the arms or incorrect tightening of the clamps may cause of
possibility of personal injury, if the device loose the connection to the wheelchair
during the ride.
Particular care is necessary when turning fast sharp corners. If the speed has not
been sufficiently reduced before the maneuver, the risk of tipping-over will increase
dramatically and it could become cause of personal injury.
