Pressure/Flow Regulation
Pressure and flow rate can continuously be adjusted as required at the hand
wheel of the safety control valve.
Counter-clockwise:
continuous pressure and flow reduction to minimum
capacity
Clockwise:
continuous pressure and flow increase to maximum
capacity
When pistol is closed, machine is running in circulation mode. If
water temperature exceeds 60 °C, thermo valve (14) opens,
releases small amounts of hot water and cold water enters.
Detergent Mode
Only if Injector Kit is installed
. The injector is activated at fully opened spray
wand. The suction rate is 10 % of the water flow. For lower flow rates the
detergent to be pre-diluted (e.g. 5 % requires a 1 : 1 pre-dilution of detergent).
Fully open valve at the double lance and open spray pistol. The injector is
activated and automatically injects detergent into the water stream. Detergent
to work in for a few minutes. Close valve at the double lance (injector is
deactivated) and wash cleaning object from top to bottom by means of the
water jet. Keep spray distance of 10 – 20 cm. Detergent residues to be flushed
from cleaning object completely. Do not spray detergent onto hot surfaces or
in blazing sunlight. Detergent must not dry.
After work detergent line to be flushed thoroughly. Put detergent suction hose
into clean water and run machine with open valve at double lance for approx.
one minute.
After Work
In order to reduce motor stressing, decrease working pressure by turning the
hand wheel of the safety/control valve (3).
•
Close and lock spray pistol.
•
Stop motor: Turn ignition switch into position “0”.
•
Close fuel cock (37 a).
•
Thoroughly clean high pressure hose. In case of
damage (cuts, abrasions, kinks) replace high pressure hose for
safety reasons.
•
Only original OERTZEN high pressure hoses to be used.
Otherwise Declaration of Conformity and warranty will expire.
•
Reel up high pressure hose properly without any loops.
•
Store machine and accessories in a dry, frost-protected area.
•
Drain pump completely in case of extended shut-down periods.
•
Drain pump in case of extended shut-down periods.
Particularly note:
In case of malfunctions, eliminate cause according to chapter „Trouble
Shooting“, call qualified service. In case frost is likely, frost protection to be
carried out (see chapter „Maintenance and Care“), otherwise severe damage
will be the result.
