The safety instructions concerning the heating plates in Chapter 3.2 must be adhered to.
∙
The safety instructions indicated in chapter 3 for treating of the conveying medium must be
adhered to.
∙
To guarantee a safe dismanthing – especially when loosening the screws of the front and back plate,
bearing bushes etc. – the pump has to be secured against tilting.
∙
To guarantee a safe dismanthing – especially when loosening the screws of the front and back plate,
bearing bushes etc. – the housing has to be secured against tilting after erection.
∙
For handling of the heating plates, that might still be hot, wear protective clothing (in particular heat
protection gloves).
∙
When removing or mounting the heater box, take utmost care that the electric cables of the heating
shells are not bent, stretched or damaged otherwise.

Caution!
∙
If the pump is placed with mounted heating plates, it has to be paid attention that it is put on an even
support which is unaffected by changes of temperature.
The terminal boxes must not be loaded.
∙
To dismantle the hot pump, place it on a heat-proof but non-heat-conducting surface.
∙
The dismantled hot pump components have to be protected against quick and especially against
unilateral cooling-down (e.g. depositing in transport container with hardwood bottom) so as to avoid
damaging of pump parts caused by thermal stress.
