COOLING SYSTEM FUNNEL

SPECIFIC PRODUCT WARNINGS

WARNING

:

 Read the product manual and vehicle 

maintenance manual prior to attempting operation.

WARNING

:

 Allow engine to cool prior to removing the 

radiator cap. Coolant under pressure can cause personal 

injury. 

WARNING

:

 DO NOT attempt to force the adapters or 

fittings onto applications for which this product is not 

intended.

WARNING

:

 Always ensure a positive seal between the 

adapters, extensions and funnel prior to adding fluid to the 

system.

WARNING

:

 Always be cautious of moving parts and pinch 

points when servicing vehicles.

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Install the appropriate adapter and cap to the radiator 

or coolant tank. 

 

 

2.  Press the funnel into the adapter. If an angled adapter 

and/or extension is needed, it must be installed prior to 

installing the funnel.   

 

3.  Slowly pour coolant into the funnel until the funnel is 

approximately 1/3 full.  

 

4.  With the funnel attached, start the engine. 

WARNING

: DO NOT increase engine speed above idle; 

higher RPM can cause overflow. 

NOTE

: If the fluid level should rise excessively, shut the 

engine off and wait for the fluid level to lower. 

 

 
5.  Add coolant until the cooling system is full. 
6.  If fluid remains in the funnel, squeeze and hold the large 

radiator hose while pressing down the fluid stopper into 

the closed position.   

 

7.  Remove the funnel and empty the remaining fluid into 

an appropriate container.  

 

8.  Remove adapters and reinstall the cooling system cap. 
9.  Dispose or recycle fluid in accordance with local, state 

and federal laws.

MAINTENANCE

1.  Always store the Cooling System Funnel in a well-

protected area where it will not be exposed to 

inclement weather, corrosive vapors, abrasive dust, or 

any other harmful elements.

2.  Keep the Cooling System Funnel clean for better and 

safer performance.
