During charging the progress is displayed with a

status indicator LED on the front or side panel.

The micro-controller also controls the charging

progress with regards to the temperature of the

charger and time. If a fault occurs in the battery or

the temperature increases, the charging current will

be limited.

INSTALLATION

The ODYSSEY

®

 Battery charger is suitable for

indoor and outdoor use.

It can be positioned horizontally on a table or a

shelf, hung on a wall or as a built-in charger in the

vehicle or machinery.

Position the charger in such a way that air

circulation will not be obstructed.

When the charger is fitted on a wall or mounted in

a vehicle it should preferably be vertically mounted

for optimal cooling. The battery charger will get hot

during operation and should therefore be mounted

away from easy accidental contact with the user if

mounted on a vehicle.

CHARGING

Read the ODYSSEY Battery Owner’s Manual

before charging.

Chargers can be used to charge batteries in-situ

(on vehicle), or removed to a suitable recharging

area. The following connection procedure should

be used:

3.

4.

Do not smoke, strike a match or cause a spark

in the vicinity of the battery.

5.

Use in a well-ventilated area.

6.

Never charge a frozen, damaged, or leaking

battery.

Battery removed from vehicle:

1.

Once removed to a suitable charging station,

charger to the positive (POS ,P, +) post of the

battery.

2.
