Operational Problem
A key may not be available for selection under the
current copy setting condition in which a certain
setting combination is not allowed or necessary
conditions are not satisfied. In this case, that key is
grayed out and cannot be selected. If the function
or mode that has already been set is canceled, that
key can be selected.
For example, any Composition feature cannot
be used when the settings for Marker Editing
have already been made.
(Cannot be selected.)
If the Marker Editing settings are canceled,
the Composition feature can be used.
(Can be selected.)
If no operation is performed for a certain period of
time, the copier automatically returns to the
standard display. This is called the Auto Clear
function. The Auto Clear Time can be changed in
the Additional Functions mode.
The key you want to select is grayed out
and cannot be selected.
When you left the copier during copy
setting and returned after a short while,
the settings were cleared.
