Setup

Place the heater on a level surface.

1. 

Place on a flat, stable surface. (See page 11)
Make sure nothing flammable is nearby; if there is something flammable, move it

before using the heater.
When moving the heater, you may hear a rattling sound; this is the tip-over switch

Plug the power cord into the outlet.

Before Using the Remote Control

Slide the battery box out of the bottom of the remote control. (1)

So its catch is tilted to the inside.

Put the battery into the battery box so that the +/- plus sign faces up. (2)

Slide the battery box back into the remote control. (3)

Push it in until you hear it click.

Usable Range

13 feet in a straight line from the front of the unit.

• 

About 30 degrees to either side of the front of the unit.

• 

The remote control may not work correctly if there is an obstruction between it and the heater.

• 

If an LED backlit TV is near the heater, the heater's reception from the remote control may not 

• 

work as well. Position the heater so light from the TV does not hit the receiver.
