Proper use of the product
The product is not designated for commercial use.
Any other type of use is not permitted!
Any unintended use or any activities on the product
not described in these operating instructions are an
unauthorised misuse outside the manufacturer's
legal liability limits.
This product should be used for sun protection only.
Symbols used
Notes indicating danger and other notes are clearly
identified in the original operating instructions.

General safety information
• The user of the product must have read and
understood these operating instructions prior to
its first use to ensure the safe handling of this
product.
• Please comply with all safety instructions! If you
disregard any of the safety instructions you may
place yourself and others at risk.
• Store all operating information and safety inst-
ructions for future reference.
• When transferring the ownership of the product,
always include the operating instructions.
• Children must be kept away from the product.
Keep the product away from children and unau-
thorised persons.
• Do not allow the product to be operated by per-
sons with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack or experience and know-
ledge.
• All components of the product, in particular, the
safety mechanisms, must be assembled cor-
rectly in order to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Conversions, independent modifications and the
use of non-approved parts are not permitted.
• The product may only be put into operation
when it is in a perfect condition. If the product or
part of the product is defective, it must be
repaired by a specialist.
• Always comply with the all applicable domestic
and international safety, health, and working
regulations.
• When working, pay attention and assume a
natural and safe standing position.
• Do not force the product. Only use the product
for the intended purpose.
• Always work with care and when you are in good
form: If you are tired, ill, if you have ingested
alcohol, medication or illegal drugs, do not use
the product as you are not in a condition to ins-
tall it safely.
• When the awning is extended, various natural
forces resulting from wind and rain will have an
influence on the awning. These, in part, signifi-
cant forces must be absorbed by the awning and
transferred to the mounting plane via the wall
brackets. Before first use, make sure that all
screws are firmly tightened.
• Extreme loads may exert great stress on the
fixing screws. Therefore, please ensure that the
installation surface has sufficient capacity for
these loads. Consult a professional if you are
unsure.
