We recommend that you epilate in the evening the first time you use the epilator so that
possible red spots disappears until morning. Note that some women can get sensitive
and easily irritated skin the days before period and can experience the epilation more
painful during these days. Take a warm bath or shower to open the pores and use a
exfoliation cream to remove dead skin. This makes the skin soft and smooth and makes
the epilation less uncomfortable. Make sure that the skin is clean, dry and free from
moisturizers before you use the epilator. Use a moisturizer
after
epilation.
Use
Battery insert/change of batteries in the main unit
Remove the battery compartment lid on the back of the unit by pulling it downwards.
•
Place 2 AA 1,5 volt batteries according to the illustrations in the battery
•
compartment.
Put the compartment lid back.
•
Change batteries when the appliance starts to work slowly to avoid a poor result.
•
Start the epilator by pushing the switch (E) upwards. If you like to use it with light, press
the light switch (F). Note that the tweezer must be placed in the main unit since the lamp
is placed in the tweezer.
Hold the unit in a straight angle (90º) with the switch facing towards you and so that the
epilation head is in contact with the skin during epilation. Pull your skin taut using your
free hand to ease possible discomfort. Move the epilator in short, quick brush like strokes
towards the direction of the hair.
Note that the epilator must be held in 90º angle.
If
you press too hard on the skin, the epilator will slow down or stop operating to avoid
damaged skin.
Epilation in the face
Be extra careful when epilating the face since the skin is extremely sensitive. The epilator
is only intended to remove single hair from the upper lip and chin/cheek. Be careful, and
hold the skin taut and the appliance in a straight angle. Move the epilator in short, quick
brush like strokes towards the direction of the hair. Do not use it like an electric shaver
on your entire face.
