Epilation of arm pit and bikini line
Be extra careful when epilating your arm pits and bikini line since the skin is very sensitive in
these areas. Lift your arm over your head to make it easier to reach. If the hair is very long
you may trim the hair with a scissor before you use the epilator. Pull your skin taut using your
free hand while epilating and remember to hold the epilator in a straight angle. If the skin gets
irritated after epilating, add some talc or a mild lotion and wait twenty-four hours before using
deodorant or perfume under your arms.
Using the tweezer with light
The separate tweezer (H) shall be used for shaping eyebrows and remove single hair from
extra sensitive areas.
Remove the tweezer from the main unit by pressing the light switch (F) and at the same time
pushing the tweezers release button (G) downwards, the tweezer is released and you can
pull it out. To turn on and off the light, you press the small round button on the cover of the
tweezer. The light is automatically switched off after ca 7 minutes if you don´t switch it off
manually.
Replace batteries in the tweezer
To replace the batteries in the tweezer unit, do as follows:
Press the light switch (F) and at the same time pushing the tweezers release button (G)
•
downwards, you can now pull out the tweezer from the main unit.
Turn the plastic cover at the bottom of the tweezer anticlockwise and remove it from the
•
tweezer.
The light unit can now be separated from the tweezer and the batterypack can be
•
removed.
Place 1 new batterypack (can be ordered from OBH Nordica 08-445 79 00) and make
•
sure that the positive pole are facing towards the spring. Place the light unit in the hole in
the bottom of the tweezer and fix it by turning the plastic cover clockwise. Make sure that
the light switch is positioned in centre of the tweezer, to be able to turn it on/off.
Cleaning and maintenance - after each use
Clean the appliance after use. Make sure that the epilator is shut off. The main unit can be
cleaned with a damp cloth and some mild detergent. Regular cleaning prolong the efficiency
and life of the appliance.
Cleaning of epilator unit and the tweezer
Use the brush to remove hair on all sides of the discs and on the separate tweezer. Put the
protective cap back on the main unit.
To remove residue from the tweezers and the separate tweezer, use rubbing alcohol on the
brush. Make sure the brush is not soaked in alcohol.
Important!
Persons with sensitive skin can easily get irritated skin after epilation. You should therefore
•
try the epilator on a small area on your leg or arm before you use the appliance.
Do not use products that contains alcohol before or immediately after use of the
•
epilator.
If you press the appliance too hard towards the skin during use this may cause irritated
•
skin.
