11. The appliance must not be used outside the house or in a
bathroom.
12. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire
or the like.
13. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
14. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface
on which the stand is placed is stable.
15. Never iron over buttons, zippers etc. as this may damage
the ironing surface.
16. Always unplug the iron when it is filled with water or
when emptying the water from the tank, when cleaning or
maintaining the iron, and when it is not in use.
17. The water filling inlet must not be opened during use.
18. Do not wind up the cord around the iron when the iron is
hot.
19. When in use the iron reaches high temperatures and there is
a risk of burns. Therefore, do not touch the ironing surface.
20. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if the is
visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
21. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before
use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
22. For additional protection the installation of a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for
advice.
23. The appliance is for domestic use only.
24. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or
is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual,
the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with
the user. Any damages to the product or other things are
not covered by the warranty.
