Hold on to the handle of the mixer while inserting the whisks into the liquid to
be whipped. Use your thumb to select the speed level by pushing the speed
control to the right or to the left, respectively. Always start at step 1 and increase
gradually if needed.
Move the whisks around in the bowl in order to obtain a consistent blend.
In order to avoid splashes, always keep the whisks in the bowl during use. Switch
off the mixer before removing the whisks from the bowl.
The whisk is used for whipping egg whites, cream and thin mixtures. Do not use
the whisk to mix tough mixtures such as shortcrust pastry etc.
NOTE!
The whisks and the dough hooks should work freely in the product to be
whipped/mixed, as if not, the motor could be overcharged.
Do not use a whisk and a dough hook at the same time.
How to use the dough hooks
Place the mixer upright and hold on to the stem of the whisks while inserting
them into the openings underneath the appliance. The markings on the housing
of the appliance show where to insert which whisk. When you hear a click, the
whisks are locked. It is important that the dough hooks are inserted into the
correct openings. If not, the dough will work its way up the hooks and the handle.
The dough hooks are for thicker products, e.g. tough dough such as shortcrust
pastry etc.
Choice of speed
Speed 1-2
Blending of dried ingredients and liquids such as cream, egg
mixtures and mashing of vegetables. Mixing with dough hooks
for cake dough and thicker dough.
Speed 3-5:
Whipping of cream, whole eggs and egg whites and mixing of
minced meat and kneading of light types of dough.
Turbo:
For extra fast whipping for short periods. The turbo function can
be used at any speed to increase the speed of the chosen setting.
The maximum mixing time for continuous mixing is 3 minutes, followed by a
break of 30 minutes.
NOTE! The whisks and the dough hooks should work freely in the product
to be whipped/mixed, as if not, the motor could be overheated.
