After resetting the scale is ready for weighing the next ingredient. Remember to reset
after weighing of each individual ingredient. If the last weighed ingredient is removed after
resetting, its weight will be displayed with a minus sign. Press reset and the scale is ready for
use. If the scale has not been reset after weighing of the last ingredient and the ingredient is
removed,”0” will again be displayed on the scale.
If the scale is overloaded (more than 5 kg) ”EEEE” will be displayed. Remove the exceeding
ingredients from the scale and it will be ready for the next weighing.
Switch off
In order to save the battery, the scale will automatically switch off about 60 seconds after
the last operation, but you can also switch off the scale manually be pressing the ON/OFF/
TARE button for a few seconds.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth with a little detergent water and wipe dry with a soft, dry
cloth or kitchen towel. Never use aggressive, corrosive scouring means that may scratch the
surface of the scale. Never immerse the scale into water or any other liquid and do not place
it close to strong heat such as e.g. a cooking table or a radiator.
Safety instructions
1. Read the instructions carefully before use and keep the manual for future use.
2. The appliance may never be immersed in water or other liquids. If the appliance gets
wet, dry it immediately, as liquids contain minerals that can make the electronic parts
corrode or destroy the electronics completely.
3. If the appliance gets dirty, you can clean it will a damp cloth and dry it with a dry cloth.
4. This appliance is not intended to be operated by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory, or mental ability, or with little experience with or knowledge of the
appliance, unless supervised or instructed in using the appliance by a person who is
responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be under supervision to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children are not always capable of perceiving and assessing possible risks. Teach
children to treat electrical units with proper respect.
6. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped on the floor or if it shows obvious
signs of damage. In such case, the appliance should be handed over for repair with the
dealer, where it was bought.
7. Only use new batteries of the correct size. Always remove used batteries as they may
leak chemicals that damage the electronic circuit of the appliance.
8. The appliance is for domestic use only.
9. If the appliance is used for other than the intended purpose, or used in violation of
the instruction manual, the buyer is entirely responsible for any consequences. Any
damages to the product or other things are not covered by the warranty.
