Nickel free
The kettle has a concealed heating element of stainless steel and does therefore not release
nickel.
Descaling and cleaning
Clean the kettle at regular intervals for scale and be aware of the following:
•
Only boil the necessary amount of water – to save current. Empty the kettle after each
use. This will reduce the amount of scale, and coffee and tea, brewed on fresh water,
have a better taste.
•
Check the status of scale often. If there is scale in the kettle, use one of the ordinary
descaling means – such as e.g. citric acid. Do not use ordinary household vinegar for
descaling of the kettle. It is extremely important to carefully follow the instructions of
the product and that the product is poured out after the duration of action and that the
water used for the first couple of boilings after descaling is not used. If there is still a
lot of scale left on the heating unit, descale the kettle again and make sure to descale
regularly in the future.
•
The descaling process is accelerated by heating the liquid to about 50-60°C.
