Boiling
• Place the egg boiler on a heat-resistant, plain surface.
• Remove the dome and take out the tray. Pierce the thick end of the eggs on
the spike attached to the egg tray. This will prevent the eggs from cracking
while boiling.
Be careful: the spike is sharp.
• Fill the measuring cup with water according to number of eggs and desired
consistency and pour the water into the base of the egg boiler.
• Place the pierced eggs in the egg tray (1-7 eggs) and put the tray back on the
base.
• Attach dome and apply the plug to a power socket. Switch on the egg boiler
by pressing the button located on the front of the unit.
• When the water has evaporated, a sound signal indicates that the eggs are
done.
The egg boiler is switched off by pressing the switch on the front of the ap-
pliance.
Remember to remove the plug from the power socket.
• Carefully lift the dome (mind the hot vapor) and take out the eggs.
Avoid touching or moving the egg boiler while switched on as all parts become
very hot.
Serving
Carefully remove the dome and take out the egg tray with the eggs and run both
under cool water. If the eggs are left in the egg boiler they will continue to boil
due to residual heat and become hard boiled.
Please note that the egg boiler and the eggs will be very hot after b
oiling.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Remove the plug from the power socket and leave the egg boiler to cool off
before cleaning.
• Clean the detachable egg tray and dome in hot water with added detergent
– do not put the parts in the dishwasher.
• When the base has cooled off, clean the inside with a cloth moistened with a
little water and detergent, or a soft brush.
• Wipe it with a dry cloth or paper towel.
