16. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage be-
fore use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly qual-
ified person in order to avoid a hazard.
17. For additional protection the installation of a residual cur-
rent device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for

19. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or
is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual,
the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with
the user. Any damages to the product or other things are
not covered by the warranty.
Before use
Before the egg boiler is taken into use for the first time, please read this manual
thoroughly and keep it for future use.
Rinse the dome of the egg boiler and the egg tray using hot water with a mild
detergent and carefully wipe the parts dry. Use a moist cloth to wipe the bottom
of the egg boiler.
How to use the egg boiler
The amount of water depends on the number of eggs and whether soft boiled,
lightly poached, or hard boiled eggs are desired. The enclosed measuring cup
consequently has 3 scales for soft boiled, lightly poached, and hard boiled, re-
spectively:
Soft
= soft boiled
Medium = lightly poached
Hard
= hard boiled
Fill the measuring cup with cold water according to the number of eggs and the
desired consistency. The marking is designed for egg size M. You may experience
minor result variations depending on egg size or number of eggs boiled at a time.
Factors such as egg freshness, whether the eggs are cold or at room tempera-
ture, etc., may also influence results. It is recommended that you learn by experi
