OBH Nordica Shiatsu neck & shoulder
Before use
Before you use the appliance for the first time, read the instruction manual carefully, and save it
for future use.
Use
Place the appliance around your neck so that it fits comfortably. Start the appliance by pushing
the switch placed underneath the left handle, to desired position:
SHIATSU
(massage only),
or
SHIATSU/HEAT
(massage with heat). When/if you activate the
SHIATSU/HEAT
function the
massage heads will light up red. To shut off the appliance, push the switch to
OFF
. Shut off the
appliance before you lift it from your neck to avoid pinching. The appliance should only be used
while sitting.
Important!
If you have blood circulation problems or reduced sensibility, for example if you have
diabetes or neck injury, you should not use the appliance before consulting your doctor. Do not
use the appliance on sore, swollen or burnt skin. The appliance should not be used by persons
with pacemaker. Pregnant women should not use the appliance without first consulting a doctor.
The appliance should only be used continuously for 15 minutes at a time, followed by a break for
at least 15 minutes.
Cleaning and maintenance

The cover can only be cleaned with a damp cloth. No abrasive detergents may be used.

Never rinse or immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
•
Never use the appliance if it accidently got wet or damp, and never immediately after
cleaning. Wait until the appliance is completely dry.
Safety instructions
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 220-240V only, and use the appliance only for the
intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when disorder is experienced, when
not in use, when parts are applied or removed from the appliance and before cleaning and
maintenance.
4. The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids.

should consult a physician before using the appliance. Persons with pacemakers should not
use the appliance. Pregnant women should consult a physician before using the appliance.
6. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
7. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children
are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of
electrical appliances.
8. The appliance should only be used in an upright position.
9. Do not use the appliance in bed.
10. Do not use the appliance when sleeping.
11. The appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in or when operating.
