or other liquids. Never use the appliance with wet
hands and never place the appliance on a wet or
damp surface.
11. Always unplug the appliance from the mains
supply immediately after use, if the appliance is
used in a bathroom since the proximity of water
presents a hazard even when the appliance is
switched off.
12. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for
damage before use. If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his
service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
13. For additional protection the installation of
a residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
14. The appliance is for domestic use only.
15. If the appliance is used for other purposes than
intended, or is it not handled in accordance with
the instruction manual, the full responsibility for
any consequences will rest with the user. Any
damages to the product or other things are not
covered by the warranty.
Use
Plug the appliance in. Turn the power button to any temperature setting –
LOW-MID-HIGH. The indicator light comes on. Select a suitable temperature
based on your hair type. See the recommendations below:
LOW – 120 ˚C low temperature – thin, fine hair/coloured hair
MID – 160 ˚C medium temperature – normal hair
HIGH – 200 ˚C high temperature – very thick and resilient hair
Make sure your hair is completely dry before you start styling. Take a section of
hair and hold the tongs near the scalp. Wind the section of hair evenly around
the heating element and hold for around 5-8 seconds, depending on the type
of hair and the desired results. Repeat the same procedure with the next
