If you want to use the styling tongs as curling irons
Pictures 8-11
Keep the styling tongs at a safe distance from the skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
Do not take sections of hair wider than 2-3 cm. Open the plates and place
the hair as far in as possible between the V-shaped plates (e) (see picture 8).
Maintain a distance of at least 3-4 cm from the scalp.
Squeeze the plates together (see picture 9) and turn the styling tongs so that
the hair is wrapped around the styling tongs (see picture 10).
Angle the styling tongs slightly down towards the shoulders and then pull the
tongs in that position slowly towards the ends of the hair (see picture 11). A
larger angle will produce a more defined curl.
Please note!
Best results are achieved while the heating surface (d) is still
cold.
Once you have finished styling, allow the hair to cool and then comb through, if
desired.
If you want to use the styling tongs as a wave maker
Pictures 12-15
Keep the styling tongs at a safe distance from the skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
Take a section of hair, around 4-6 cm wide, and place between the plates (e)
(see picture 12). Press the plates together for around 4-5 seconds (see picture
13). Open the styling tongs and release the hair. Turn the tongs 180º and
place the next lower section of hair between the plates without overlapping the
already styled hair (see picture 14). Repeat the procedure for the entire section
of hair, all the way down to the ends of the hair.
Once you have finished styling, allow the hair to cool and then comb through, if
desired.
Switching off
Always switch off the styling tongs using the switch (b) and unplug the cord
after use.
WARNING!
The styling tongs can be damaged by overheating. Always ensure
that the plates are not locked while the tongs cool.
