Hold the appliance by the handle on a safe distance from the skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
Take a hair section of appr. 5 cm. Spread the hair section between the plates and close the
appliance. Draw the appliance from the roots through to the tips of your hair. Never hold the
appliance still. For best result start at the roots and work your way to the tips.
If you need to repeat the same hair section, overlap by placing the plates on the already styled
hair.
Keep the heated parts away from scalp, face, neck and hands. Never use the appliance on
wigs and artificial hair without testing on a thin hair section first, otherwise the wig/artificial
hair may melt.
Note!
This professional straightener reaches very high temperatures. The appliance should
be drawn from the roots to the tips in a smooth movement and should not be hold still since
the hair can get burnt.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Turn off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch. Unplug the appliance and let the
appliance cool completely on a heat resistant surface before cleaning. Make sure that the
appliance is out of reach for children. The appliance gets very hot during use and it will take
time for it too cool down.
• Never immerse the appliance or cord in water or other liquids. It must never come in direct
contact with water.
• Do not let water escape under the cover.
• Dry the appliance cover and appliance with a damp cloth. Wipe with a dry cloth.
• If the appliance is dirty, clean the surface with a damp cloth and wipe with a dry after.
• Don´t wind the cord around the appliance.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled completely before storage.
• Store the appliance on a dry safe place away from children after use.
Safety instructions
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 230V only, and use the appliance only for the
intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use.
4. The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children
are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling
of electrical appliances.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
8. The appliance should only be used under supervision.
9. Warning. Never use the appliance with wet hands, over a sink, bathtub or similar
containing water. Never place the appliance at a wet or damp surface.
10. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply immediately after use, if the appliance
is used in a bathroom since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the
appliance is switched off.
