OBH Nordica Straightener
Before Use
Before the straightener is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully
and save it for later use.
Use
Wash your hair as normal. Dry your hair until it´s completely dry and comb it through. It´s
important that the hair is completely dry. If you have very thick hair you can use hair clips to
separate the hair to make the styling easier.
Start by opening the straightener by pushing the locking disk (picture 1) underneath the
appliance. Plug the appliance. Place the appliance with the ON/OFF switch upwards on
the enclosed heat resistant mat, placed on a flat surface (the silver coloured side should
be placed upwards). Start the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch for a few seconds
(picture 2), the temperature control lights 1-3 illuminate immediately and the 4th flashes
until the appliance has reached it´s pre-set temperature of 160ºC, (picture 3). The pre-set
temperature is reached after appr. 1 minute. To switch off the appliance, press the ON/OFF
switch for a few seconds.
Setting the temperature
The temperature is adjusted with the + and - buttons, the temperature control lights flashes
on the selected setting, picture 4b). The lights will flash until selected temperature is reached
and you can start using the appliance. The lowest temperature setting is 100ºC and the
highest is 200ºC. Select the suitable temperature for your hair type.
Note!
Risk of burning
your hair if selected temperature is too high for your hair type.
Always select the lowest temperature level (100ºC) when using your
straightener for the first time.
Select a low temperature (120ºC) for blonde, bleached or coloured hair.
Select a low/medium (140-160ºC) temperature for normal and slightly wavy
hair.
Select a medium/high temperature (180-200ºC) for very thick, curly and
hard to straighten hair.
