5.3 Positioning the Jet Unit

Installing and positioning of the unit
►
Fastening of the unit at pos.1-3 (picture A)
►
In order to swivel the unit to the designed
angle, loosen the screws 3,4 and 5 (picture
B) on both sides of the unit.
►
After adjusting the unit, the screws 3, 4 and 5
(picture B) must be firmly re-tightened on
both sides.
►
Turn the unit into the desired direction. For
this purpose loosen the screws 1 and 2
(picture A).
►
After adjusting the unit, the screws 1 and 2
(picture A) must be firmly re-tightened.
►
In service with continuous jet length the cover
(pos.6 picture C) has to be placed one-time.
►
In service with variable jet length the long
hole has to be suited to the desired dynamics.
For it the O-Ring (pos.7 picture C) in the jet
cover (pos.6 picture C) has to be removed.
►
Also the splash guard cover (pos.8 picture D)
has to be removed by loosening the 2 screws
(pos.9 picture D).

The DMX control cable and the 12V power
cable of the unit have to be connected to the
DMX control unit and the 12V AC power
supply.
ATTENTION
At the landing point of the jet the water should be at least 30 cm deep, thereby avoiding excessive
splashing. Since splashing can never be completely avoided, a minimum distance of 1m from the basin
edge should be observed.

In the basin, position the pump such that the jet of the Jumping Jet Rainbow Flash will not hit close to
the pump.
►
Place the pump at a higher level to prevent drawing in of dirt particles from the bottom of the basin.
This measure increases the cleaning interval of the unit.
►
Ensure that the hose length between the Jumping Jet Rainbow Flash and the pump does not exceed
2 m.
