Installation
Set-up the unit
Place the unit in the pond on a horizontal, firm and sludge free ground and ensure that it is completely covered by wa-
ter.
Commissioning/start-up
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences:
Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
•
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into
the water.
•
Isolate the unit before starting any work.
•
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Sensitive electrical components.
Possible consequences:
The device will be destroyed.
Protective measure:
Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
Switching on:
Switch on the mains voltage. The unit switches on immediately when the power connection is estab-
lished.
Switching off:
Switch off the mains voltage.
The indicator lamp (Fig. A, 21) indicates the ON/OFF status of the UVC lamp.

The UVC lamp will automatically switch on
again once cooled down
UVC lamp defective
Replace the UVC lamp
UVC lamp is not correctly seated in the socket
Correctly insert the UVC lamp into the socket
Unit switches off after a short running period
Water temperature too high
Note maximum water temperature of +35°
